WILKES-BARRE — Officers investigating a mugging arrested two men, including one wanted in Pittston, Sunday morning.

According to the police report:

Police were called to the Park and Lock Central, South Main Street, at 2:27 a.m. Sunday for a report of a possible mugging. At the scene, six to eight males were actively fighting. Police said when the officers dispersed the group Garrett Genella, 22, of Wilkes-Barre, attempted to flee on foot.

The officer then caught up to Genella, who turned and started to tun toward the officer. The officers tased Genella and placed him under arrest.

At the same scene, a warrant search on Kevin Greene, 28, of Sugar Notch, showed he had an outstanding felony warrant.
