Corpus Christi Holy Name Society to initiate new tradition for annual breakfast May 1

The Corpus Christi Holy Name Society will host a new tradition as the group prepares for its 31st annual breakfast following the 7:30 a.m. Mass Sunday, May 1, in the church hall, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. The society has invited the daughters/granddaughters of parish fathers to the breakfast. They will be welcomed with the sons/grandsons exhibiting new beginning for the parish. Principle speaker will be Chad Spencer along with Tux, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin mascot. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-10 and children aged 5 years or younger are free and can be purchased from the ushers in the church or by calling 570-654-2753.
