DURYEA — The Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 585, will swear in its officers for the 2016-2017 year at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at the post home, 329 Main St.
Being sworn in are: Jim Balchune Sr., Commander; Vincent Yonushka, Jr., Senior Vice Commander; Michael Andrews, Vice Commander; David Dehaba, Finance Officer; Peter Guitson, Adjutant; Matthew Balchune, Chaplain; Fredrick Tonkin, Historian; and Ronald Mehal, Sgt. at Arms.
