HUGHESTOWN — Pittston Area School District’s Martin F. Quinn Primary Center participates in the Artist in Residence from NEIU, Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit. The program focuses on unlocking each student’s creative artist within.
Artist Erin Malloy has been working with the children to develop their singing, dancing, and public speaking skills. First-grade teachers Mrs. Barr and Mrs. Klem assisted Mrs. Malloy in the production of the Halloween show. All first-grade classes will have the opportunity to work with the artist and present a show during the school year.
