WEST PITTSTON — Anna E. Dickinson, known as America’s Joan of Arc, will be the topic of an upcoming West Pittston Historical Society program.
Dickinson, a fiery abolitionist speaker and leader of the suffragette movement, spent a portion of her life living in West Pittston. As a national figure, her life in West Pittston has been well documented.
This program will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at the West Pittston Library on Exeter Avenue. All are welcome and the program is free and open to the public.
