Wyoming Area’s division championship team placed six players on the first team in Division 2 when Wyoming Valley Conference coaches selected their all-star teams.
Liam Burke, Kendall Heck, Dylan Kostik, Zack Kostik, Casey Noone and Shawn Pawloski all represented the Warriors on the first team.
Wyoming Area went unbeaten in the division.
The Warriors also had Sean Burke, Hayden Foland and Braidon Kostik make the second team.
Lochlan Messner was Pittston Area’s lone representative on the Division 1 first team.
Matt Jasienski and Kevin Talipan earned second-team honors for the Patriots.
SENIOR GAMES
Several Greater Pittston players were in action when the Wyoming Valley Conference Senior All-Star doubleheader was held Thursday night at Wyoming Seminary’s Nesbitt Stadium.
Pittston Area’s Ryli Smith, Rhiannon Okuniewski and Lauren LoPresto were seleted for the Orange team along with Wyoming Area’s Amelia Golden.
The Black team won the game, 5-0.
Wyoming Area had Logan Burakiewicz, Sean Burke, Shawn Pawloski and Zack Kostik were picked for the Black team, along with Nicholas Lombardo, Matthew Jasienski, Kevin Talipan and Lochlan Messner from Pittston Area.
The Orange team won the boys game, 4-0.
