Dominic DeLuca from Wyoming Area was the only Wyoming Valley Conference player selected to participate in Tuesday’s Class of 2020 All-Star Game at the Inside Lacrosse Recruiting Invitational in Baltimore.

DeLuca was at the invitational with the Zombies, a team made up primarily of WVC players.

The tournament was conducted Monday through Wednesday. College coaches selected players for Tuesday’s all-star game based on their performances in two games Monday.

DeLuca played for Team White, which tied Team Black, 10-10, in the all-star game.

The midfielder, who is also a college recruit in football as a defensive back/quarterback, helped the Zombies go 3-1 to finish third in Pool D before losing their final two games of the invitational.

DeLuca was the second-leading scorer on the Zombies with seven goals and five assists in the tournament.

Wyoming Area teammate Jakob Switzer added two goals and an assist for the Zombies.
