While the worst of Winter Storm Stella has left the region, the Wyoming Valley could get a little more snow over the next few days.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Luzerne and Lackawanna counties until 8 tonight.

Lingering, blowing snow is expected to create very poor travel conditions, as roads will be snow-covered and slippery. Winds could also gust as high as 35 mph, which could produce wind chills capable of causing frostbite.

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow, along with significant blowing and drifting, will cause travel difficulties.
